NEW YORK, March 12, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Gay Advocate David Russo co-hosts a photography showcase at New Brooklyn Cave of Arts with Michael Dean of EquitablePR. The benefit spotlights Russo’s nonprofit, Cheeky Charity, which sheds light on colorectal cancer in young people. The evening at Bushwick’s Brooklyn Art Cave will highlight a handful of curated photographs featuring artists Adam Rose, Matt Monat, Andrew Careyand Andrew Graham. The artwork will reflect the recent social media movement Cheeky Charity #MarchYourButt, where participants were asked to show their full Georgia peach to raise awareness about colorectal cancer.
The #MarchYourButt movement continues throughout March as it is Colorectal Cancer Month. Anyone over the age of 18 is encouraged to participate. If you’re not comfortable with your cheeks on the internet, you don’t need to get your peach out to participate. their photo to cover their blurs. Participants don’t even have to undress at all; just turn around, take it out and cover it with a peach! All shapes, sizes, ages and genders are encouraged to join this social movement that will change and hopefully save lives.
In addition to inspiring photography, an internationally renowned musical artist Guy Scheiman will tour live throughout the evening, where his new cover, COMMANDER (by Kelly Rowland feat. David Guetta) with voice of Inaya day, inspired by David’s cause, will debut. “Thank you for this wonderful and important project,” said Guy Scheiman“I’m thrilled to be a part of it.”
