Enama earned his second Player of the Week citation after leading Hunter to two conference wins. In the Hawks’ win over York, the elder scored twice in a 4-1 win.

CUNYAC Men’s Football Rookie of the Week

Brayan Alvarez, John Jay
Fr., Queens, NY/Academy of American Studies

Alvarez won Rookie of the Week for the second time this season after scoring twice in John Jay’s 3-1 league win over John Jay.

The 2022 CUNYAC Men’s Football Championship will be held from October 26 to November 5. The six-team single-elimination championship will be organized by the highest seed for each of the first two rounds. The opening round is scheduled for Wednesday, October 26, followed by the semifinals on Saturday, October 29, and concluding with the championship game on Saturday, November 5 at Brooklyn College.


The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) is an NCAA Division III and NJCAA Division III conference with 14 members that span New York’s five boroughs. Since its official inception in 1987, the conference has been among the leaders in Division III with initiatives that focus as much on the student as on the student-athlete. The conference sponsors 19 four-year varsity championships, 13 community varsity championships, the Michael Steuerman Scholar-Athlete Awards Dinner, the Basketball Press Luncheon, SAAC Coaching Rules and Leadership Seminars, a CUNY-Wide Intramural Championship Series and the CUNYAC Golf Classic. .
