CONWAY, SC (06/16/2022)– Coastal Carolina University recognized more than 1,200 students at its spring commencement ceremonies, held May 6-7, 2022. Among the graduates was Edresse Darboe, a major in marketing from Kinston, NC (28501).

A University-wide ceremony recognizing all graduates was held Saturday, May 7 at 9 a.m. at Brooks Stadium and featured a keynote address by Vanessa Wyche, a native of Conway, SC, and director of Johnson Space NASA center. Each of CCU’s university colleges held individual ceremonies over the weekend, during which the names of graduates were called and they were given the opportunity to walk across the stage and receive their degree covers.

Coastal Carolina University is a vibrant, public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, just minutes from the resort town of Myrtle Beach, SC CCU offers bachelor’s degrees in 95 major areas of study. Among the University’s graduate programs are 27 master’s degrees, two education specialist degrees, and doctorates in education and marine science: coastal and marine systems science.
