Winamac American Legion Post #71 and VFW Post #1728 will hold their annual Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 30 at 11:00 a.m. ET at the Pulaski County Courthouse Memorial.

Leanne Behny will be the guest speaker. Pastor Glenn Williamson will provide the invocation and blessing. Stan Czech will serve as master of ceremonies. A member of the auxiliary will lay a memorial wreath. A combined American Legion and VFW firing squad will salute military service members who have died in the line of duty. After the game of Taps, the ceremony will end.

The American Legion will visit the following cemeteries:

Pulaski Presbyterian……………..9:45 a.m. ET

Star City West, Inc. (IOOF)… 10:15 a.m. ET

Star City Town.…..…………………10:25 AM ET

The VFW will visit the following cemeteries:

Mount Zion (Franklin Twp.)………9:25 a.m. ET

Reed Cemetery (SR 14 E.)………9:45 a.m. ET

St. Peter (SR 14 W.)……………..10:00 a.m. ET

Winamac……………………………….10:15 a.m. ET

Note: Due to the expansion of Winamac Cemetery, the Honor Guard will line up in the McFarland Addition (south side of West Main Street) between County Roads 50 and 60W.
